A Note About the Founder

Emmy Rodriguez Harris, The CAVE School

Emmy Rodriguez Harris is a passionate and dedicated educator with a master’s degree in education, multiple certifications, and over 17 years experience in teaching and administration. A bilingual educator committed to shaping the future of young minds, Emmy has worked in public and private schools, youth ministries, and international settings, both in the U.S. and abroad, while integrating a faith-based approach into her teaching.

As a mother of two, Emmy understands the importance of balancing academic achievement with personal development. She is dedicated to creating enriching educational experiences that equip students for both academic success and a meaningful life beyond the classroom.

Emmy advocates for an approach to education that nurtures the development of the whole child, where students are encouraged to develop critical thinking, real-world skills, and a strong sense of self. She works tirelessly to create an engaging and supportive learning environment, collaborating closely with parents and community partners to help students discover their unique talents and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.

Affectionately called the “kid whisperer,” Emmy has a remarkable ability to connect with students and help them succeed, particularly those who struggle in traditional classroom settings. Her compassionate, hands-on approach leaves a lasting impact, empowering students to thrive academically, personally, and spiritually.

At The CAVE, Emmy combines her experience, love for children, passion for education, and Christian values to create a dynamic, student-centered learning environment that ensures students exceed traditional educational boundaries and are prepared for success in all aspects of life.
